Well, because it isn't long time ago even the Dutch themselfs didn't have one language. And we take it for granted, but we're one of the few country's where English is mandatory.

English sounds só much better than Dutch haha.. :3

But then I wonder, how do English and American people feel about their language? Maybe they think French or something is much nicer.

I disagree. Some dutch words sound better in dutch than when they are translated in English
